I still have cable. I support you in your protest. My daughter and her family have a dish. I know they block things that they do not want their children to see.

I am sick of the push for the acceptability of the gay lifestyle. I am not threatened by it. I just do not like the "in your face" mentality they display. I have known gays all my life, have friends who are gay, etc. My problem is not with them. They have made the decision to live as they do. I think in general there is nothing much to watch on TV. Too bad DirecTV does not have an a-la-cart option that lets you choose the channels you want and skip those you don't want. Does anyone know of a satellite service that does have that?

It may seem crewel, but I verbally belittle anyone that mentions they watch homo TV. I tell them they're falling for Marxist propaganda, hook, line, and sinker. I recommend they use their search engine and learn the history of Marx and his beliefs, and his lust for young boys.
Then I write down the URL of the homosexual manifesto , and sincerely, whole heartedly, recommend they read it - for their own good. They'd find it "unusual.".
I do say it nicely though. With a smile. I really do care about them. It hurts to see them being programmed by liberal media and anti-American messages.

I love Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. It is funny and and well done and the guys seem to be professionals. I hope they don't change it. Of course, since it is good, they will probably take it off the air just like Homicide Life on the Streets which remains the top show ever.

Also, the program that's suppose to follow is just one of those soon to be tired of ginned out so called realty wonders that I never watch and will never watch. The real reason they are on is just like Hitlery and Bill, the greed and money.

BRAVO has turned out to be TRASHTV. Last night I was trying to watch, The Man In the Moon. A really good wholesome movie on BRAVO, but there were so many promos for the "queer" movie, I had to change the channel.

What has happened to you folks? Pushing, prodding, promotion, and pandering to the pervert audience has been much too overwhelming for my friends and family. Your station, and Disney Corp. in particular became the focal point of the scorn of almost all of the normal family folks I know..

Since DirecTv relies heavily on rural subscribers who have no access to cable, you might have an effective tactic here.

We can assume that rural people are among the least interested in promoting sodomy on television.

An extended campaign, flooding them with mail and email, demanding that they remove this from your satellite and give you programming that you want could be very effective.

BTW, they don't care if you block the channel. That's exactly the solution they propose.

Perhaps you could look at their various programming packages and see if you could reduce to a lower priced one that does not include Bravo. Or check if Dish Network offers a Bravo-less package that still has your favorites (like FNC). Since the equipment and installation are free if you commit to a year's subscription, it shouldn't make much difference which service provider you use.

If you find an angle on this, you might tip off CWA (Concerned Women of America). A very conservative women's religious organization. They have strong followings all across rural America. Also, Focus on the Family would be a good outlet for spreading the word.
