Typical editorial masked as a news story. At least do a statistical poll instead of calling up one disgruntled guy and calling him "many".

Who is this guy "many" anyways ? Does he have a last name ?

"many' is a fictional class of people created by the lamestream media to work on getting W. defeated in 2004.

I'm a Vet, and I'm retired, and I know 'many' who are in mys status and we all realize that this story and others like it are nothing more than BS.

NO one in their right mind believes the democraps (and moderate RINOs) would or could do any better than W. has committed to do for us.

I notice my stepfather, who was a big Bush supporter, and is in the Air Force is now talking very badly of this President and how he talks the talk, but does nothing for the servicemen. Well, he wants to spend all this money on liberal policies he seems to be embracing lately but has no time for veterans? Something's seriously wrong and I hope Republicans straighten out because there's no way vets and military should be treated like this.

Don't know about "many" But I'm another one. Damned all politicians anyway. They are all liars and GW has shown that he can and will lie right along with the rest of them. I'm a Disabled Vet and I'll be damned if I vote for the Republicrats if they continue in their ways.

2 party one philosophy system. I refuse to vote for any democrat, but this next election I won't be voting for Republicans either.

Keep your promises or lose my vote. Simple as that.

How about all of the veterans who signed on the dotted line for over 20 years of service, with a PROMISE that they had health care when they retired. This was not a handout, damnit---this was something they EARNED. And they were denied after the fact.

Don't give me that crap about how all of the veterans should have served for nothing in return but blood, sweat and tears. They did their duty, and now it's time for Uncle Sam to do his and pay the piper.

When you are employed by any other employer, if they fail to pay what they stipulate in their contract, they are taken to court and sued. If it's Uncle Sam, he just sticks in an escape clause saying "sorry, we can screw you whenever we want." I, too, know many many veterans, who are also W supporters, but who are extremely pissed off about this.
