Yes, there seems to be a huge upswing lately of "good conservatives" who seem to think that the GOP has gone astray. Lot of these folks concerned about the "culture", too.

The more I see `em post BS, the less I like `em. I'm beginning to think David Frum had it right on when he called the paleo-cons outs, and made his mistake by NOT pounding into some of these paleo-cons for what is very close to bigotry - and I'm not using that term lightly.

Who can blame these vets from being mad at Bush? He can't see fit to spend $5 billion extra per year to help our men who bled for this nation in war, but he blissfully throws $15 billion down the Africa-AIDS rathole.

Bush is pissing me off too lately, what with the 28-page Saudi censorship and the policy shift on Hamas today. What the hell is going on in the White House?

If the demos march out someone with a little character and dazzlement Bush might find himself standing with dad in the un-employment line.

No such creature exists in the Democrat party nor has for a generation.

If you don't like the job he's doing, if you're getting ticked off, take your best shot at him, either in the primaries, by staying home or going the third party route...

But understand that he won't owe you a damn thing if he's re-elected.

So we have banned Freepers to look forward to returning under new screen names? Maybe we could make this into a game to find the returning posters and out them!

Do believe calling us Bushbots outs them! They are behind the times!

I can only assume that you would like Dean, Kerry, or another Clinton handling the national security, taxes, and the appointment of the judiciary!!

Rush has always been either hot or cold with Bush. It's hard to keep up with his 'schizophrenia.'

Rush can gripe all he wants. He did the same thing with Bush's father and pumped up Buchanan. Holding his feet to the fire, you know, and all of that.

By the time the Perot danger was recognized, Rush had to scramble back to supporting President Bush. Too little, too late.

I quit listening to Rush about a year ago, and I imagine there are quite a few more like me. He is no expert in politics, since he has made several wrong predictions, including the one in which he said that Mrs. Clinton would NEVER run for the Senate.

So I don't care one bit what his opinion is.

I base my opinions on what I think is right, not what RUSH thinks is right.

More and more, the conservative "base" is driving people like me to the middle.

The "conservative base"? Which base are you talking about? The kamikaze crowd? The "all-or-nothing" crowd that gave Reagan crap back in the day?

I'm trembling with fear...

Since he's saying the same things people like me, and everyone else you people have dismissed as fringe right-wing, single issue, bigots.

Signed up July 11, 2003. Who are you really??
