"It makes you wonder if at their next presidential debate, the Democrats are all going to show up wearing aluminum foil helmets to protect their brain waves from the mother ship."
Now there's a mental picture I won't be able to get rid of for awhile!!! :-)

"DeLay said the Democratic Party is not unpatriotic, just misguided and unfit to lead."
DeLay is just making nice here. In fact, the Democratic Party is totally and absolutely anti-American and unpatriotic, it is utterly misguided, and it is completely unfit to lead anything.

The only thing Demoncrats are fit for is a prison cell. The Democratic Party is a criminal interprise hiding behind a political front.

The national Democrat Party seems to have lost its marbles," DeLay, R-Texas, said So they've finally noticed in Congress... send them to the mental institutions wearing straight-jackets locked in padded cells.

"Most of all, Democrats hate the president because on every political issue of significance since he came to office, he has beaten them like rented mules."Geez, that must be kinda hard on their egos, what with George Bush being so "dumb" and all. Maybe they can run that drop-out "genius" Algore against him next year.
To: samiam1972
The GOP strategy now is to diminish the impact of the Democratic attacks by painting them as loony leftists. They need to also paint them as the hypocritical two-faced liars they are...and expose the total phoniness of their attacks on Bush.
Unlike them, we can back up our characterizations of them with facts, documented quotes, voting records etc.
And we need to do it.

This is
NEWS? The Democrats haven't had a decent leader since McGovernites turned the Party on a very leftist course in the early 1970's. I think even the late Hubert Horatio Humphrey would be appalled at how far left the Democrats of 2003 have become.
To: samiam1972
Meat doesn't get much more red than this.
"The national Democrat Party seems to have lost its marbles...Their single organizing philosophy is an irrational, all-encompassing broiling hatred of George W. Bush... Most of all, Democrats hate the president because on every political issue of significance since he came to office, he has beaten them like rented mules... The extreme, Bush-hating wing of the Democrat Party has decided to either ignore or reject the fundamental realities of 21st century life, and rather than distance themselves from the hate, the party's leaders have embraced it... ...Bob Graham, a respected former governor and chairman of the Intelligence committee, is calling for the president's impeachment ... John Edwards, a so-called moderate, compares the president to a dangerous socialist... Dennis Kucinich, a long-time member of Congress, now calls for legislation -- I love this -- to ban 'mind control' weapons in outer space... It makes you wonder if at their next presidential debate, the Democrats are all going to show up wearing aluminum foil helmets to protect their brain waves from the mother ship."
Dennis Kucinich, meet the lasers.
