B/S. And what is your alternative? Reinstall the liberal Democrats?

And who will they appoint to the court? And what will that buy us? Forty more years of wandering through a liberal wasteland, that's what.

End it, dammit! Dump the Democrats!

Get a filibuster proof Senate, a conservative court and start cleaning house! The Rinos can be weeded out in the primaries as we go. Continue recruiting the very best conservative blood up through the farm teams as possible. Eventually, as we continue replacing liberals and rinos, etc, the government and the courts will become less and less liberal and more and more conservative.

If we work hard and work together long enough and keep the liberal Democrats out of power for enough cycles, we can achieve an overturn of marxism and a reversal of the socialist trends. It is possible and there IS NO other way to do it! If there was another way, someone would've laid a plan on us by now. There is no third party plan. Just smoke and mirrors.

Ronald Reagan had a vision of defeating communism. No one, and I mean no one believed it could be done. But he did not give in and did not give up and it came to pass. If he were in office today, I'm sure he would agree that liberalism/marxism within our own government can be defeated just as well, if we have the will and if we stick to our guns!

If we had to wait for the third parties to do something about marxism, we'd all be dead and gone and our grand children would all be dead and gone long before they (the third parties) even become a minority in the House of Representatives. C'mon, the third party utopia is a pipe dream. It ain't gonna happen.

You've got to take the Democrats on head first and with full force. It's going to take a huge effort to replace them and a huge and sustained voter turnout from the populace, not some one percenter pied piper. And it's not going to be easy (or pretty for that matter), but it can be done!

I've decided that most 3rd party enthusiasts are that percentage of people on this planet that will not allow themselves to ever be happy or hopeful. Their purpose in life is to grumble, bitch and moan.

They don't want to be like the Maytag repairman, with no job or problem requiring their superior knowledge (cough, cough). That is what they thrive on.

Imagine if they had all they claim to want.........they would shrivel up and die.

I think they ought to seriously consider calling themselves the Contrarians. Their motto can be "Semper Acidus" (Always Bleak).

My fellow Americans, let's listen to Mr. Jim Robinson of Free Republic.

That's exactly what black leaders said to their followers for years regarding their support of the Dems. And it got them diddly squat from the party. I have no desire to vote 3rd party. But I'm also not going to let the GOP believe they can count on my automatic vote, because they will therefore think that I am in their pocket and nothing they do to co-opt the Dems will affect how I vote.

Once again, I see nothing wrong with your basic strategic directive. But I think part of your tactics are wrong, that conservatives should not voice strong dissent when necessary and that we should not hold out for the option of not voting GOP if they go too far left in search of swing voters. After all, we've said all along that this country needs more conservative values - but what does it say about US if we're willing to sell out those values to gain a stronger hold on power?
