I just saw Paula Zahn on CNN ask whether it was a "mistake" to have killed the Hussein sons. She asked whether it would have been better to catch them alive. The left is already starting to criticize our military for a job well done. Next the ACLU will ask whether we had a warrant.

She asked whether it would have been better to catch them alive.I can understand that. Think of the Intel we could gather. Of course the reverse is true also. Any Intel they gave would take weeks to verify, if not months. As far as I'm concerned, I'm glad they're "deader than s**t".

It would have been better to capture them. However, at least one American soldier was shot.
I presume that indicates that the Hussein's had no desire to be captured alive.
I suppose that stun grenades, snipers with dart guns, and assault forces armed with Less than lethal weapons could possibly have been used. However, the circumstances may have made it impossible.
