I believ the men and women who died with that convoy already received the bronze star for merit posthumously.

I don't think 5'4" 100 pound 19 year old girls belong in combat theatres but I certainly ain't begrudging her the bronze star.

It has always been the case that while most medals are earned, some are not. And some people who deserve medals don't get them. Nothing in this world is perfect.

We are not doubting the Purple Heart or the POW. But the Broze Star?? According to the reports she was unable to fire a shot, or assist in the defense of her unit.
