Jessica Lynch just arrived in her home town...
Before we've always seen her with the glasses and frumpy uniform, but today...wOW. Go girl.
I love a woman in uniform.
She had a ceremony before the Black Congressional Caucus about a month ago. Shoshauna is being taken care of don't worry.

As for the few here who can't understand why she is a hero- she deserves special recognition- they all do. Anyone who is a POW, and especially those who have been tortured, deserves respect. They were POW's because they served our nation.
Some people here seem to want to think less of the women in the military, or look down on their service as if its not as worthy as the mens. That is just wrong.
From what I've learned , the Armed Forces function as a team. Each persons role is important. Even General Patton acknowledged this in one of his speeches,-when he praised the truck drivers running day and night on the supply lines, not stopping even when under attack.
So women in the military have a role. They aren't as big and strong as the men, but they are there (wherever they are sent) doing their jobs and serving our country. They deserve the same respect and recognition that you would give any soldier.
Ask yourselves this question: If you take Jessica and the other women out of danger, who do you replace them with? Do we put in the Draft and end up with a bunch of Taliban-Johnny-Bin-Walkers from San Francisco? Of course they'd be in Canada long before that.
I mean, I don't like to see these young women in danger, (its even worse when they have kids) but, somebody has to take the place of the useless , worthless, parasite, sandal wearing, liberal males who are out laying in the streets, and defacating and vomiting on Federal Buildings in "protest" of the war.
I'm not saying there aren't problems with both sexes serving toghether. The higher-ups are stupid if they think you can put men and women in close contact and expect them to stay away from each other. (Somebody needs to tell them-military officials- about the birds and the bees)
Even with the problems, I applaud the women, like Jessica, and my God-daughter, who are serving our country. God Bless and Protect all of them- men and women- and bring them home safely.
