My thoughts exactly. However they may be glad to extradite him to US & wash their hands of him as opposed to endless taxpayer funded legal wranglings and appeals to EU Human Rights court etc which will be the next step.

The damage is already done as far as the Balkans goes, it'll take at least 20 years to undo the damage the Saudis and their allies did there. I'm still optimistic about Chechnya, largely because Maskhadov is hardly the great symbol of armed struggle that say, Arafat, is in the Palestinian Authority.

For now though, I'll content myself with Abu Hamza being removed from society, preferably permanently. Here a little, there a little, till the whole damned jihadi internationale comes a crumblin' down ...
