You can attack me all you want.

Bring it on, keep spewing that vile and slinging that mud, attack me all you want I stand by my posts and I'm not ashamed. It's too bad you're all emotional. You need a hug.

How am I trashing this victim? Her own actions trash her reputation. She appears to have pursued him.

I've also posted that more facts could change my mind, but that I believe Kobe until then because he is a target and has conducted himself admirably, until now.

I mean, I'd condemn a perp if she was a jogger in central park or walking to her car in Chicago, but she waited until after work to go meet with him. Sounds like a pick-up to me.

Also, I agree with riri that cheating on a gorgeous latina wife is really foolish.

IF she's telling the truth, I feel as sorry for her as you do, but at this time I don't think that she is because of her actions. It doesn't seem that Kobe worked that hard to get with her, the effort was made by her.

These are not the actions of a victim.

But hey, if you want to yell at me and get whatever it is that's eating you off your chest, have at it.

I just don't understand the actions of this poor girl who's going by herself to the room of some guy who's almost seven feet tall. I'm a man who can handle myself alright and I wouldn't even do that without being focused and prepared for a bad hypothetical situation.

>> We've gone from a time when an allegation of rape usually merited comments like 'she had it coming' ...<<

"""This guy didn't rape anybody. Though, he is an idiot for obviously cheating on such a gorgeous woman with anything that crosses his path."""

Exactly, he's an adulterer. Big whoop. His wife, Vanessa, hit the hubby lottery.

You're right. Vanessa is really stunningly beautiful. He's a dope, but some guys have their cake and eat it too. The athletes almost do it on purpose, like it's part of their job. Do I think they are scumbags for doing it? Sure! But I agree with you, he raped no one.

If it comes down to he said, she said, Kobe gets off because he would've been sitting in that room all night by himself if she hadn't shown up late at night on his doorstep alone.

I don't care if she stripped nude and spread her legs in front of him... Nothing she did meant she asked to be raped...

You don't care if she spread her legs?

And what if she never said no, does it even matter to you?

It is not a fact that she was raped.

And I'm the one being accused of automatic judgement for simply not going along with every bizarre sexual accusation made by stupid girls?

If he was charged today, she must have said no.

Must have? That's a blatant assumption.

One thing she has going for her is that she wasted no time in making the allegation.

She also didn't waste any time in getting to his room after she got off work.

No hugs from you please!!!

I was a 19 year old girl once and I can assure you that they don't always have the best judgment. There were several "stars" that I idolized and would have taken the opportunity to spend time with. Sex not even being a consideration. Just to have a conversation, bask in the glory, and have a great story to tell. I guess the definition of pursued means to you she wanted sex, but I can see that doesn't necessarily mean that at all. Also, she might have thought he was safe because of his reputation.

I do think you are trashing the victim. How about waiting for the facts to come in? Will evidence of force change your mind or will it take other women to come foward with less than admirable Kobe stories? I guess we'll see what happens.

I have spilled no vile. I merely pointed out your ignorance of rape. It is a crime of violence. To say he could have gotten better reveals your misunderstanding of the subject. That has no bearing on whether it's true or not

It's Kobe's actions that trashed his reputation, whether it's rape or not.

You were probably nineteen fifty years ago by your hostile, naive, snooty attitude towards me and you posted to me while I only replied. And I wasn't offering you a hug at all what-so-ever, just saying that you needed one, maybe from your many cats.

I already posted before you ever wrote to me that other evidence could change my mind, but it better be damn good. Too many innocent men have paid the price for false accusations already for us to just take her word for it.

And what, pray tell, makes YOU an expert on rape?

You are right that is not asking to be raped, that would be CONSENT to any reasonable person.

You obviously have issues.

"Man, that statement is just infused with the love of Christ and sheer pig-ignorance of statistics."

And "The love of Christ" has what to do with this post?

My, you're always sooo witty and between-the-lines.

I was nineteen exactly twenty years ago if you are at all interested, although I fail to see what my age has to do with anything. Looks like you are the one with huge hostility issues. Settle down!!

Innocent men have been accused of rape, and on the flip side many victims did not pursue justice for fear of being trashed by people like you. I'm curious as to what you would consider "damn good" evidence? I don't think there's a videotape. What would convince you?

And speaking of a "snotty attitude," Your trashing of this girl speaks volumes, What about her, an ex-American Idol contestant? Does she have a jock fetish? Or a celebrity fetish? Gee, ho hum, I wonder...Nice.

Never said I was an "expert" on rape. I just keep myself informed enough to know the basics, which appearantly you do not.
