Anyone see on Fox Carl Levin fast asleep? No, he was reading (in bored fashion, I agree) his copy of the speech.
Blair just spoke eloquently of the duty of leaders to do the right thing and Nancy Pelosi's posture and facial expression also showed extreme boredom and again a standing ovation showed her reluctantly rise to her feet. Dems either not always clapping or with little enthusiasm.

This man is fearless in the face of his own peril. That's how I know this thing is real.

I know that. I just am not used to hearing a foreign leader state it so openly.
All leaders of free nations know its true, but they don't like to say it and annoy their whiney home crowd.

Obviously, I couldn't get the delivery down; if you get a chance to see the speech, it's right at the beginning!

This is unbelieveable. He left no doubt that America is leading the way and Europe will be right there.
Cannot compromise with this new form of terrorism.

Can you say "Team Player"? I knew you could. Not a Poodle - A teammate on the right side of the game.

None of the networks are carrying it, it's only on cable. So most won't even know what he said, they'll just over look it on the "evening news" and all the rest. Too bad it couldn't be in OUR prime-time!

Compromise is a fine thing, but it's not when based on illusion. I don't think you can compromise with terror.

This is not a good day for democrats. If I didn't know better, I'd think they hate Blair almost as much as they hate POTUS.

Watch the replay. The person to the left had begun and he mouthed the words don't clap to that and the person stopped. Couldn't see the face of the other.

If the Labor party doesn't want Tony, let him come here and run in Election 2008. I'll vote for him! But not for president. Sorry but, being foreign-born, he can't run. :=)
