Shep Smith hyping Dick Durbin's claim today that the CIA knew the uranium business was flawed but the WH insisted on including it in the SOTU speech anyway.

Shep Smith all but pounded the table delivering this Durbin claim. Then he added in a lower, quicker tone, after raising his voice and emphasizing each word of Durbin's allegations, that the WH called Durbin's claims FALSE.

Now, my opinion is Smith should have been hyping the fact that democratic congressmen are running around telling blatant lies to the media in order to smear President Bush.

For some reason, I have this mental image of Shrillary rolling her eyes, applauding languidly, and looking bored (with the network cameras all lovingly focused on her every gesture - maybe they'll catch her picking her nose :-(
