[Old Sarge]

Greetings, Canteen FReepers!

Sarge is back on watch today, after three dee-lightful days off!

Day One was spent playing swordfight with a local re-enactment group, and having supper with Mussis and The Boy in our new house.

Day Two was our Guard unit's annual family picnic. The Boy behaved himself grandly, the food and the fun was tasty and low-key, and the weather held out cool and breezy.

Day Three, well, I spent the ENTIRE day at the new place, getting the plumbing fixed, slapping polyurethane on the hardwood floors, working on the appliances, and when I get home, help Missus with the yard sale stuff.

All in all, I get more rest on duty!

I'll be checking in until midnight tonight. Hoping anyone down Texas way is okay with the storm...
