President Bush doesn't work that way. He never has and he never will. When are some of you going to understand that this President is honest and honorable. If he thought George Tenet should leave, then he would ask for his resignation. He doesn't make deals to keep someone's job. He governs and does what he thinks is best for the United States not for some individual person in a job.

President Bush does not stick a finger in the wind to see which way it is blowing either. He is loyal to people he has working for him and expects that same loyality -- no deals!

You mean like he is with the blocking of Foreign Aid in regards to the Life Issue? Seems that he just broke a promise this past week... oh well, carry on, nothing to see here..

Oh, that's understood. What's also undertood is that despite these admirable personal qualities, President Bush is also sometimes dead wrong.

With regard to the African uranium flap, I don't happen to think that's the case. This is a middling molehill. However, I think that can be demonstrated without unnecessary appeals to personality, based on the facts available to us.
