I think they might find it hard to touch him. Bush will support him for several months, and he will retire to be with his family.

I'm on FOX. I wonder if the big 3 will announce this? This comes out before the evening news. We'll see.

So who told the Brits otherwise?

Earlier, John Gibson was giving Terry McAwful a hard time about that, saying, "So you guys are going to demand that someone appointed by your guy Clinton resign?"

Parliament cleared Blair. It seems that the Senate would have to clear Bush, also, that is if they could keep their inquiry to the bare facts.

I don't know that he will have to retire... he didn't after September 11th.

Bush is letting Tenet hang. This all very defensible since Bush cited British intelligence which still believes that Iraq tried to aquire uranium in Africa.

I don't think Tenet should be allowed to weather this storm. He should have been gone a long time ago, IMHO.
So, what is Tenet saying here? That the info was false and HE knew it or just that it shouldn't have been in the speech? Either way, it's way too sloppy. My confidence in our "intelligence" is pretty much near rock bottom and this certainly doesn't firm it up any.
It's time for Tenet to go.

The Senate is run by the good guys. This is a DemonRat smokestorm. Nothing more.

Little trick straight from bubba's playbook. Slip the news out on a Friday evening when very few of the sheep are paying any attention. It will get hashed out on the Sunday am shows, and by Monday, any further accusations will be, "old news."
To: Bill Davis FR
He's a Clinton appointee and his people at the CIA started this whole thing by talking with a British newspaper.

This will ruin the 'RATS weekend...(tee-hee).

The lame-stream media is missing something here...where was the Democrat's interest in the honesty of a president during the 8 years of the Clinton administration?
Just why won't the media ask any Demonrat about that? We already know the answer...

Yes BUT this should stop them from calling GW a LIAR on a daily basis. Calling for the head of TENET is a much EASIER problem to handle for the administration. GW shoots HE SCORES!! Again. The gimmies are in shock and the MEDIA will do some more digging to see if Tenet was PRESSURED into saying this. It is not over but close!

LOL! McCuliff was just on FOX claiming this was a huge cover up, and a big investigation is needed for the "sake of the American people." We need to "get to the bottom of this", because a president who misleads the American people to justify war needs to be held accountable! Something must be done about Bush, and NOW!
He, he, he. Now he looks like a ravonous wolf who has no idea about whats going on in the real world.
I'll bet the Democrats are PI$$ED! They had TV comercials condemning Bush for lieing and already filmed and ready to go! LOL
To: concerned about politics
Everyone does before it goes to the President. Being a Clinton appointee, I'm shocked he's being so ....human! Maybe that's why he was held over by Bush. Maybe he actually has some integrity?
