This AM I gave my yearly report from the Loose Change Club, but when I didn't see it on "My Comments" I realized I must not have pushed "Post" ------so I will repeat it.

I have, however, already sent the amount collected, into the pot, and have received acknowledgement. (So don't take this as an added $50)

As the founding member of the Loose Change Club, I counted my nickels and dimes, this morning, and found that I have collected $45.89 since the last Freepathon. I have rounded it up to $50 so as to make the accounting easier.

For those who find it difficult to give donations, this method is a real easy way to help the web site in a painless way. Each Sunday, I count the change in my change purse. I keep a few quarters, nickels, dimes and pennies to start the week, but everything else goes into a baggie. The weekly 'take' seems to add up to $2+ - $3+ in change. Not much, but added together after 3 months, it comes to a tidy sum. This time, the $45.89 (using Laz Math) the breakdown was $3.83 a week. Most Freepers can afford this amount per week, and at the end of the 3 months, it is a respectful sum.

I don't know how many Freepers have joined with me in The Loose Change Club, but I welcome you if you wish to be a member.

Just for the fun of it, when I start the next collection, I am going to break it down into the actual count of pennies, nickels, etc. Gotta put some shabazz into this jingly stuff!
