i like your english, it's better than my russian! i'm not a catholic, but when it comes to islam, any of the three major christian goups and judaism become my allies!

You have it backwards. The Jews of Sprain generally prefered Muslim rule because of the way Christians had treated them.
There was a JEwish population in Spain since the first century BCE. While the Roman's could be difficult, the real trouble only came when the Romans and later Goths converted to Christianity.
At best, the Jews of Hispania were second-class subjects, but were left alone if they accepted many conditions. However, Jews were periodicall expelled or slaughtered in many Gothic towns. Thus when the Muslims invaded and offered the status of Dhimmi, it was a step up.

i'm just saying that if you're upset about a faraway country trying to spread its religion in spain, you're not standing on very firm ground, since spain spent 500 years doing just that.

Disease killed far more than any war dog or firearm of the spanish. If there were really hundreds of millions of people there before the spanish (I'd like to see you source on that), do you think only thousands of spanish soldiers could wipe out so many by themselves? When the spanish took the Aztec capitol, there were less than 300 spanish soldiers. The spanish were aided by other "indians" who hated the aztecs. By the way, the Aztecs executed 20 thousand prisoners at one time on one of the temple pyramids. What goes around comes around I guess.

This is hardly "payback". The sitaution in Spain concerns a groups of Muslims who built a mosque for them to worship God in. Anyone who knows anything about Spanish history should be able to recognize religious fascism and its deadly effects. And a mosque in Spain is hardly that.
