Palestinians tone down incitement, but demand reciprocity

For the first time since the start of the Intifada, official Palestinian Authority television yesterday refrained from broadcasting programs encouraging jihad and municipal workers in Gaza City began whitewashing over anti-Israeli graffiti. The Palestinians called for an end to remarks such as those of Transportation Minister Avigdor Lieberman, suggesting that released Palestinian prisoners "should be drowned."
