And a swell dancer!
To: E.G.C.
His career was more than the Beverly Hillbillies. In the early years, he was a screen actor & song & dance man (I'm sure there's a whole lot more--vaudeville, I do believe).
And on the Beverly Hillbillies, he introduced the world to Flatt & Scruggs.

RIP, Buddy. You've given me a lot of simple pleasure over the years.

Ebsen also got edged out of the role as "The Tin Man" in "The Wizard of Oz" because he was allergic to the silver paint.
Rest in Peace, Buddy.

Y'all don't come back now, y'hear?

I bet that crook Mr. Drysdale somehow finagled his way in being the sole beneficiary to Buddy's will.
