RM, I think you have hit the nail on the head. Another freeper mentioned the other day that by stealing the Democrat "issues" he was forcing the Democrats even farther leftward. I think between that and what you have posted here, we may be glimpsing a bit of the strategery. I have to admit, though, that I have been disappointed in some of his domestic decisions. But even if he broke my heart on every domestic issue out there, I'd still have to vote for him just to keep the opposition out of office, and because he is such a decent man.
