Not nearly as conservative as I'd like. But, considering that there is a sizable socialist contingent in this country, any principled person who is right-of-center is prefered over the alternative.
There is a difference between idealism versus pragmatism.

The difference is only how quickly the Constitution is shredded. Bush has signed and has indicated he will sign numerous bils that are flat out unconstitutional. And he wants 4 more years?
If we are going to hell in a hand cart, at least let the Rats be the ones driving.
