I led a sheltered life in a small town in Ohio! I have only begun to realize how sheltered. Even my kids for the most part were not confronted with anyone from the gay community until they were in college. If someone was gay in their high schools it never came out.

I wondered if the sterotypes on TV were even close to reality. You have cleared that one up!

They featured naked cyclists, fluffy pink boas and floats swaying with singing drag queens.

Speaking of stereotyping....they just can't seem to help it.
