The hit and run occurred at around 2 a.m. It was only 1-2 miles from the scene to her home. I can imagine in Fort Worth there might not have been anyone around to see it at that time of night.
It would have been great if anyone had seen it and reported it. Biggs may have had a fighting chance then.
