I think that publishers spend big $$$ on getting prime display real estate at B&N stores. It might be that Ann Coulter's book pretty much sells itself without hype, so her publisher decided not to spring the big bucks to have it prominently displayed. Hillary!'s book, however, isn't going anywhere unless it's shoved under the noses of mind-numbed skulls full of mush.

"It might be that Ann Coulter's book pretty much sells itself without hype, so her publisher decided not to spring the big bucks to have it prominently displayed." That's not the point I'm trying to make. What we have here is a best-selling book that's not in the best-seller section.
If there are 30 best-sellers, including "Treason", and 29 of these best-sellers are displayed in the "best-seller" section, why is Ann's book hidden?
This has nothing to do with the publisher not spending big bucks to have the book prominently displayed. That's another issue completely. "Treason" doesn't need to be prominently displayed -- it just needs to be in the best-seller section, with all the other current best-sellers.
