Trent should do the eulogy. Better yet, he should do it jointly with George W. Bush, side by side.
I agree!

May he rest in peace. I read somewhere that as a boy, Thurmond knew an old man who had known Andrew Jackson. What a life.
To: Howlin
A good man. May he rest in peace.
The Democrats are jumping for joy.

When my grandmother died at 91, my mother received a card from Grandma's bingo friends. They wrote on the card, "Leila has won!", meaning you live a good life, and are rewarded when you rest in peace with God. I like that idea.

How sick. Who would celebrate someone's death? I don't care how much you may loathe a person. Just goes to show what kind of people there are over there.

I wonder, with Strom gone, who Hillary will shove aside to get her mug on camera at his funeral, as she once shoved Strom aside on the floor of the Senate.
To be crass, does this affect the Republican majority in the Senate?
RIP Strom...

Sad? There is no sadness for a long successful life.So very true. I hope that his family was by his side.

"Good job Strom, you can meet your maker with your head held high."
