You need to remember that many American Jews are the children or grandchildren of European socialists who came here in the 1930s/1940s.

The virulently anti-semitic democrat party welcomes all Kool-Aid drinkers, lemmings and mind-numbed zombie robots.

The new slogan for the democrats, proudly displayed over the Party Headquarter's entrance is "Arbeit Macht Frei!"

Many of these so-called Jews would also vote for Hitler if he was a Democrat.

"The non-partisan Ipsos/Cook Political Report Poll collected the data between January of 2002 and March of 2003."

This is based on old data! I wouldn't even pay attention to it. Some of it goes back to January 2002. If Bush continues with his road map lunacy, then 25% for him could be the top.

We only need to kick that number up by 7 to 10 points. We do that ( and it's very doable ) and that will be enough to tip everything our way. If it works out that way, we end up with the best of situations. We win. We win with little enough Jewish support that we need not under go undue pressure on Isreal. As they say " What could be bad!" ( no in this context you don't use a ?)

Don't worry; the Democrats are expert at convincing people like me to vote Republican. I don't see how it would be any different with Jews. We just need to let them see the three-faced lying coward the Democrats nominate and label "presidential" material.

(1) The article makes no distinction between registered voter Jews and the general population of Jews. Since most polls that take the effort to make the distinction will take credit for it, I would guess that this is a poll of the general population of Jews.

Registered voters have a greater appreciation for politics, and are more informed. An informed voter, in my estimation, would weigh the accomplishments of the Bush administration against the previous administration, which would make a registered Jewish voter more favorable to Bush.

An unregistered voter would have a tendency to be more apathetic, and would base their opinion on what their friends say. But it doesn't matter, because they're not voting anyway.

(2) The article does not describe how the voting pattern has changed, yet it believes that the White House will be disappointed (without actually asking anyone in the White House). Does this poll represent an increase in GOP-voting Jews, or a decrease? The article doesn't say. With the electoral votes so evenly split, any increase in votes from any segment of the voting population would please the recipient of the increased votes.

This is simply bad journalism.

Did people think Jews were going to become Republican overnight?
