Sheikh Raed Salah, head of the northern branch of the Islamic Movement in Israel; Umm el-Fahm Mayor Suleiman Agbariya; and three others were indicted today on charges of membership in a terror organization and passing on information to the enemy. Hundreds of family members and other Israeli Arabs gathered outside the Haifa District Court to protest the proceedings.
Police arrested Salah and 14 other officials in May on suspicion of transferring charity funds raised overseas to the families of suicide bombers and Hamas. Internal Security Minister Tzachi Hanegbi said the men "oiled the wheels" of terrorism. Police emphasized yesterday that evidence collected did not show a direct involvement of the men arrested in terror activities.
Hmm. Wonder where this was.
We have the same problem here in the US. We invite our enemies in to live among us.
Of course most Muslims are against terrorism and are friends of the US and Israel.
