Yes, most commentators have gotten it wrong. Jonathan Turley was closest to accurate on Fox with Brit Hume. Brit was the first newsperson to mention that this "win" for affirmative action in the law school had a sunset provision to drop out at 25 years.

Good summary. Turley also made the point that since this ruling failed to draw bright lines, it will lead to more litigation, requiring another Supreme Court ruling. And if there is even a one-person change in the courts composition (with one more conservative justice) we could see the end of affirmative action much sooner.

Jonathan Turley was closest to accurate on Fox with Brit Hume. I thought Turley's comment about any system that would consider Oprah Winfrey and Bill Cosby "disadvantaged" was seriously out of whack, particularly well stated.
