Thank you for posting their photos, mom - we have them on our prayer list - can I add their pictures to a future FR Vet group? (I think I probably have enough now to make Group #12)

Glad you all liked the rendition of America The Beautiful by Ray Charles. I'll have to play that one more often.

proves that you are a good personThank you. Oh well, Nietzsche (sp) says, "That which does not kill us makes us strong." It's true.
Anyway, my *troubles* are nowhere near what I know others are going through. That helps me shrug it off and keep going.

...seated - lower right - right?! Yep. Even today I lean to the "Right." :)
Gotta go for a while. Maybe I'll return later with a "sea-story" about changing a ship' propeller. In the meantime, another photo of the type work we did...
To: Pippin
Hi Pippin. Hope you're saving up for those speakers.
To: jwfiv
What a stunning graphic! Sending it to my cousin who loves horses as much as I love dogs.
Thanks for the kinds words about my father. I miss him terribly.

Seeing that pic of your dad is making me want to find a pic of my dad and my brother in uniform and see if I can't have them posted here. I say go for it!

Thank you both for posting pictures of the very *handsome* men in your life. I am grateful to all of our wonderful military people - please pass along my thanks!
.45MAN and I went to a decidedly *right-wing* concert (Ted Nugent and ZZ Top) Saturday night. Ted did nothing but praise our troops and our president in between songs (and *slam* the likes of the Dixie Chimps, Chirac, Schroeder, et al in language not fit to print here - LOL!). It was great.
There was a man sitting next to me who had come alone to the concert. In getting to know him, I learned that he has two sons, one of which is in the Navy. Between the Ted Nugent and ZZ Top sets, I told him to thank his Navy son for me for all that he does. The man was visibly surprised and told me he would. You could see the pride in his eyes. It was great!
