Let's see...the first run was allegedly 1 million books, and S&S has said that they're printing another 100,000... so if they've sold 450,000, there's 650,000 still on the shelf... 650,000 x $20/copy = $13M... that's more than I've got in my checking account right now.

You have way too much time on your hands. Have you ever thought of going back to work and leading a productive life?

Sorry, but there's no way I'm going to spend my money on a lousy hillary book, even if I do return it.

And besides, Hillary "fans" can still buy the book if B&N just puts the books back on the shelves. I wouldn't be surprised if they did that. After all, just because one person hates it doesn't mean they all will. It won't cost them to re-order the books if they just stick a new price tag on it and put it back.

Simply put, I think it's a no-go. Kudos to your creativity, though.

Sounds like the kind of sleazy tactics employed by Dems to me. We should be above these types of games. Me thinks you are obsessing over the witch. That's not healthy.

Plus, if I was a Carvillian sleaze bucket and had no problem with this idea from a moral perspective, I would have to point out that from a practical standpoint, the answer to your last question would be "Yes, it is a waste of 'freakin' time."

Nice in theory, probably unworkable in practice. The sales would be lauded and no one would hear about the returns.

I believe there's a clause in the book, on page 564 or so (someone posted the exact page) stating that Hillary's book is NON-RETURNABLE. No kidding. This is the first time a major book has had a clause of this sort. How do you feel about Hillary now?!

The store would likely not accept a return of 50 copies of the book since they would know something fishy was going on.

I would not want the karma from the immoral act of owning the book for twenty-four hours.

Bad idea. So is the one about turning books over, hiding them from view, or placing them in "fiction" section.

Better to stand outside a store where Hillary! is signing books, holding signs and addressing the folks in line regarding the crimes, lies and amorality of the Clinton clan. Most of the folks in the lines that I've FReeped are more starstruck than they are diehard Hillary! supporters. Very little vocal objection from them to our commentary.

But that's just my opinion.

A better way would be to simply purchase Ann Coulter's Treason. Conservative books will rise and Hitlery's will fall off the charts.

What if you just went through the store and picked up copies of good books and placed one in front of each of Hillary's books on the shelf? No money involved and if you have that much time on your hands to do it, no one would notice her book to buy it. Not sure about the legality of that though.
