[history]
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush, trying again to explain the failure to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, said on Saturday that suspected arms sites had been looted in the waning days of Saddam Hussein's rule.
"For more than a decade, Saddam Hussein went to great lengths to hide his weapons from the world. And in the regime's final days, documents and suspected weapons sites were looted and burned," Bush said in his weekly radio address.

Because the federal government has created this HELL about our state's rights and has ensured the loss of our personal dignity.
The lies that pop out of this federal government's mouth and your love for the illusion places you into a fine category.... 'sheeple.'

Ahh! The excuse for GWBush for everything he did because of the Democrats argument Are you being intentionally obtuse, or did you miss his point entirely?
Reread his Jorge's point -
If Bush mislead the public then so did Clinton and Gore, numerous Democrats, the United Nations security council, UN inspectors, and intelligence agencies of the UK, Germany and many other nations, and Iraqi defectors ALL of whom claimed Saddam has WMDs that were a threat to the his neigbors and the world.
This is correct. Everyone else has, at some point, come to the conclusion that Saddam had WMD in some form or another. If Bush was wrong, everyone else, including the vast majority of his current critics, was also wrong. The Democrats didn't make him do anything.

Exactly.
Too much evidence exists from the early 1990's through 1998 that Saddam had them. Before he kicked out the UN inspectors in 1998, he even admitted to a list of various chemical/biological substances he had. They didn't just evaporate. They exist--somewhere. If no longer in Iraq, then ????? [select country from our "not-true-friends" list]

Where are the WMD, that GWBush pushed our nation into war about? Don't play some silly game about logic or proportion with me. Since there are no recovernable WMD in Iraq, what was the REAL reason for America to make war about a sovereign nation half-way around the world, that America already had under control for 12 years?

I am an American, I believe in individual dignity and the constitutional guards against government to subject us to the scrutiny that government usurps, today. If you think I am a liberal, fine. I am a constitutionalist, however. And have no affiliation with these political parties of republican or democrat nature that have systemattically destroyed our once great and proud nation.

Because the federal government has created this HELL about our state's rights and has ensured the loss of our personal dignity.Oh, so now it's Bush's fault that you allowed your legislature to overspend? Perhaps if you spent didn't spend so much time criticizing the FEDERAL government and instead spent your energy on cleaning up your STATE government we might be inclined to listen to you.

Where are the WMD, that GWBush pushed our nation into war about? I already answered that question once before.......
I don't know.

DeadConstitution.com
is in process, 11/03/2002 03:41:15 PM. I have quite a few scripts to write before this place is really on-line. The good news, is that it is secure and FAST! The web site shall be secure from and to your client machine, as well.
Please try DC later; you can try it anytime, of course! I am estimating that the site will be fully up and running about January, 2003. Email me if required: bairdb@PacBell.net or buckeroo@deadconstitution.com (if you can read this web page or 'semblance, thereof, you can email me). The servers shall be up and down in November/December, 2002 with great frequency..
DeadConstitution If you have a sense of humor coupled with a passion for personal dignity and love about individual liberty, you may like this up and coming site.
- Free internet email accounts - (no SPAM); already up and running; this minimizes folk's requirements about security for themselves and those that they intend to address.
- Automatic web-page updates concerned with individual liberty, freedom and rights ( article links from around the world, file pathed for easy look-up by geographical area and subject matter ); the "DCbot' shall continuously post relevant web-links upon the DC_Update web page; this should be up and running around November 13, 2002. It actually works now; I am trying to minimize the number of "clicks" that are required to access the web-sites from your browser.
- Bulletin Board access where freedom minded folks may discuss any relevant information about our individual liberties, freedoms and rights; this should be up and running January 1, 2003.
- Authoritative authors with original synthesis about issues that escaped the radar; should be up now! Please email attachments of original work in the field of 'natural rights' or 'constitutional rights' or 'god-given rights', as you choose.
I wish some folks could help me upon this website. I see a tremendous opportunity to spread the word about our God given and individual liberties. Well, I have to get back to work and fix the place up! See you next year in and about January. -- Buckeroo |

I don't know where he got the idea I was arguing the Dems made Bush do anything.
And as you said, the majority of Dems who are criticizing him now are hypocrites.
I am hoping the WMDs are found and these snakes reap the political reward they deserve....public humiliation.

They are somewhere and they are either still hidden in Iraq or they are in the hands of Syria or as you say any number of anti-USA countries.
Bottom line is that Bush did the right thing in reguards to the War against Saddam. I do not agree with Bush on many things but on this subject and the on going war against the terrorist Bush has done a fantastic job.
The only place that I disagree with Bush about is our border question.

The WMD issue is a non-issue. The majority of Americans would have supported the war just on the argument that Iraq harboured Al-Queda. The overriding mission, which has been accomplished, both in Iraq and A'stan, is that contrary to Arab belief, America, post-Vietnam, is not afraid to spill some blood to protect ourselves and the open and free society we have spent 200 years building. If these towel heads think (or thought) that we are going to tolerate 9/11, they will now think again. We will spill some of our blood, and lots of theirs. It's the only thing these people (extremists) respect - raw power. They thought we had grown soft - they were wrong.

I have no idea about what you are talking about. During Reagan's administration, the good ol' USA gave WMD to Hussein in retaliation against Iran.
There were no deals. Saddam tested these WMD against the Kurds immediately during Reagan's watch.

However, anyone concluding that Bush "misled the public" simply because to date, we have not yet been able to uncover them is being disingenuous and acting from a position that reeks of an agenda that is nothing but politicalI don't care who was sitting in the Oval Office -- taking the country to war and getting American sons and daughters killed based on false and fabricated information on WMD is criminal. This goes well beyond politics. You had better damn sure have the evidence in your pocket before you invade and not freaking vague "they got em cause I say they got em" BS like we've been handed from day one on this.
