WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush, trying again to explain the failure to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, said on Saturday that suspected arms sites had been looted in the waning days of Saddam Hussein's rule.
"For more than a decade, Saddam Hussein went to great lengths to hide his weapons from the world. And in the regime's final days, documents and suspected weapons sites were looted and burned," Bush said in his weekly radio address.

I've done both, that's why I told SAM it wasn't worth his breath. Stop by and see us. Hope you and yours are well.
To: SAMWolf
For one, I never bought into the WMD being the main reason for the war and IMHO I think the administration overplayed that aspect.I agree with you on that.

Oh, me too. But there is a limit on what kinds of things I feel comfortable criticizing in public. However, I too back the war effort 100%. Hell, I've dedicated my life to it.
As for the rest of it, it can be taken care of. Americans are like that.
The bad guys have to be killed first, though.

Our government is NOT a method to create freedom around the world. You stand corrected; you are damned lucky that I show restraint towards you ....
To: Buckeroo
Assuming your statements are true, which they are not. What you are saying is, if someone creates a killing machine they shouldn't be allowed to destroy the killing machine ? Isn't your logic a bit perverted ?

" Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) were sold to Iraq on a regular basis by the United States government; in the 1980s Ronald Reagans dummy minister Donald Rumsfeld ensured this happened as a method for national security under the guise of the National Security Act (1947). These WMD were intended not as dual-use bio-toxins but, in fact, freely distributed to Iraq for war with Iran. The goal was to upset the Iranians and to stop a war that was creating problems about the flow of oil into America. Iraq effectively won this war with known deaths of thousands of Iranians as a result of using chemical weapons." You repeat the lies you started in #11. #47 refuted this horse-hockey.
I also note that you felt the need to drop the F-bomb, thus violating many posting rules here.
You are unworthy of any respect, response, or further regard.

The bad guys have to be killed first, though. You got that right, they proved you can't reason with them, there's no common ground with people whose only aim is to kill you.

His statements are patent lies. He's been shown this conclusively, but continues to post them unabashedly.
It's called psychosis in some circles.

Thank you. I'll be here a while longer, he's still spouting his falsehoods and Leftist talking points.

I agree with you on that. Thank you.
I think the policy of making WMD such a big issue is why we're here arguing right now. it also handed the Libs ammo to stir up controversy. I don't believe the Administration is that stupid, I think they may have based it too much on intel that was hard to prove or they know more than they can tell us and decided to take the heat anyway.

50 Americans dead and dying since "victory" in Iraq and Afghanistan is controlled by warlords who just produced a bumper opium crop. Does that "feel good" too? Damnit, Jim, you're missing the point. We are in the middle east is to break the power of Islamic / Arab fundamentalism. This isn't a war that we can avoid by staying home.
Had we attacked Afghanistan in 1999 for harboring known terrorists, we wouldn't have suffered 9/11. Had we waited on Iraq, we could have suffered worse. Now we have Iran and Syria cornered, and the power of international Islamists has been shattered. Yes, we've taken casualties, but they're a fraction of the losses we'd suffer by doing nothing.

"You say I lie. What lie have I posted? Be explicit!" Sure. You have posted, TWICE, that America armed Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction. Post #11 was the first on this thread. It was shown by post #47 to be a lie. You nonetheless repeated it, throwing in some Democrat talking points and profanity to season it, along with several new lies.
Oh, and you STILL have not responded to the facts posted in #47.
Do you actually think anyone is taking you seriously any more, besides your soulmate Arete, that is?

I am not a Democrat .... and I am not a Republican party member like you. You folks destroyed America ... taking away our Bill of Rights with interpretation from some BS political perspective.
Where was political parties written into our Constitution? How come political parties don't care about the Constitution?
To: SAMWolf
I am with you there Sam. They have decided for likely logical reasons to take the heat, for the time being.

No wonder the little things like individual rights, liberties and dignities are now under control of police state. You have done well. BTW, do you wear a swastika? Which arm... a left one or a right one?
