Hmmmm? What idiot would go out into a parking lot (with all that metal) in the middle of a thunder storm ...?? There must have been indoor places at the park where they could have ridden out the storm.
More victim suing because they were too stupid to look out for themselves. It's always somebody's elses fault.

I used to work in an amusement park. I could see me dashing through the rain yelling at people "Hey, it's raining" "Martha, that boy said it was raining. No wonder we are wet".
LOL! Yeah, but at least it would be offical!

Liberal idiots. An "act of God" is a complete defense to a lawsuit like this. After all an amusement park can't possibly know when a lightning storm hits, does it? Besides, the odds of getting struck by lightning are well you know, pretty low. Sure its a tragedy for the family involved but filing this lawsuit against a business for something it wasn't responsible for and had no control over, illustrates the complete disappearance of common sense and personal responsibility from our courtrooms. You've got greedy lawyers willing to sue just about any one for a fast buck. Heck this case is a poster child tailor-made for tort reform.

Gabriel: Well they're suing You and this is a subpoena for production of documents.
G*D: For WHAT??
Gabriel: For production of documents - you know - weather forecasts, energy projections - things like that.
G*D: Oh
Gabriel: Whatjagonna do.
G*D: Let me think for a second. OK. Gabriel, refresh my recollection, where is this all happening?
Gabriel: Place called 'King's Island'
G*D: OK. All clear now - how long would it take to clear out all the righteous for a two mile radius?
Gabriel: Not too many of those down there ANYWHERE - maybe a day or so.
G*D: Let's give them the benefit of the doubt and say three days, Move 'em all out and then We are REALLY gonna have an act of G*d down there.
Gabriel: Roger that, L**d.
=====================================
Gabriel: Okay, I've got you penciled in for 8:25 next Tuesday.
G*D: Sounds good...No. Wait. I forgot. No can do. Let me think...um...change that to 10:30
Gabriel: Roger that. Should I get in touch with Michael over in PR?
G*D: Sounds good...On second thought, skip it. But get me RL over in continuity....

These people are neither crazy nor stupid. The are part of the new "liability lotto" SHYSTER class in America. They know exactly what they are doing and will have a hard time not grinning like cheshire cats in court.
This is what our court system has wrought. Asbestos anyone or is fiberglass the suit de jour? Maybe it's ladders and lawnmowers week or it could be old mice in the pickle jar month.
