So much for the friendly approach.

So which Republican canidate can beat the 16 or 18% Feinstein or Davis can get.
I think only one, and I don't like his social program size"
The Arnold! 30+%
Issa, Riordan, Simon would be toast.

Its funny hearing how "anti-democratic and irresponsible" this recall is from the same people who frothed at the mouth about Bush Vs Gore. The Democrats apparently like free elections only if they're sure they can win.

"Stand up and be a man. Run like most people do," Davis told the Los Angeles Times. But Issa has some strong words for Davis in return. "You don't have to get the nod of approval from the very government that lied about the size of the [state] deficit," he said. Oh I like that!

Not to mention the fact it is very democratic to have to first collect 1.3 million signatures to qualify a recall question for the ballot and then obtain the support of more than 50% of the votes in the recall election. If there was an ounce of truth the Democrat's assertion that this violated the will of the people then they wouldn't be in such a froth right now. They know that their own base is frustrated and disgusted with Davis and the state's leadership, and they must surely be hearing the first refrains coming from that fat lady outside the Capitol dome. And she's singing!

Rep. Henry Waxman (D), adding that "it's an outrage, it's irresponsible meddling."
Inconvenient thing, that "law" thing.

Yep yep - download, sign and circulate petitions. There are five signature spaces per petition. So please - each of you download and print just TWO petitions. Take them to people you haven't asked to sign before. Go stand in front of a supermarket for just 1 hour and collect the signatures. Bring it to your gym and post a notice to see you to sign the Recall Gray Davis petition. This is a citizens revolt and the very nature of the spirit of grassroots awareness and activism that underscore what FreeRepublic.com is supposed to be about. Let us rally those who are screaming out for change and looking for new leaders to bring it to them. Go get the petition below:
And while you are at the website be sure to listen to the Recall Davis song. The song can be heard by clicking the button "Listen to Recall Song" on the left hand side of the screen on the main page of the website.

Thanks for the good luck wishes, blam.
I think that when we are successful this will get an even higher level of national press than the amount it has already gotten (heck, I saw myself on World News Tonight on Saturday and it was weird because it was the 3rd or 4th national news story I had seen a clip of myself in related to the recall... that made me realize the growing amount of national play this is starting to get) - anyway, this explosion of citizen populism will hopefully inspire others across the country to get involved, get motivated and work for positive change regarding the governance of their lives.

Davis isn't allowed to run in the race to replace him. If he's recalled, the winner of the simultaneous election to replace him, becomes governor. And the constitution prohibits the recalled officer from being a candidate in the race to replace him.

Then it becomes a Feinstein victory unless Arnold decides to run and Republicans back him.
I don't like him socially, but he is a known business man and a winner.
Arnold can get elected, anyone else I can think of would lose to Feinstein.

So let me get this straight:
Republicans control the governorships of all the major states such as New York, Florida, Texas, Georgia, and soon California.
Republicans control the House, the Senate, the Supreme Court, the Presidency, more than half of all state governorships and the majority of all state legislatures...
Yet the media won't say a *word* about the Democratic Party being out of touch with the American people. The press won't publish a word about the Democratic Party being in trouble.
Am I missing something, or is the liberal bias so bad that even the *OBVIOUS* can't be reported as news (if it paints Leftists in a bad light)?!
