From the middle of May until the middle of August, it was usually in the 50's at night or lower, and rained every afternoon.
It was a Red Letter Day when it soared into the 70's and you could actually wear shorts!
The last summer there, we went camping for a week, first above the Arctic Cicrle - saw snow flurries on August 12th.
Then went down to Mt.McKinley, nighttime temperatures in the 30's - days in the 50's.
So many unusual experiences there, and I'm so glad I had them - even the weeks of 50 below zero and The Good Friday Earthquake....
