No vacations this summer, I'm afraid. We save our vacation time for Fall and Christmas. Fall is for *us* and Christmas is for going home to FL.

If we haven't relocated to FL by then, we'll probably go back to St. Simons Island in October. There's another lighthouse about a half hour north, plus more to see and photograph on St. Simons that we didn't have time for last Oct.

It's a sad day in this part of Texas. The First Baptist Church is burning down. It was a beautiful old building with big stained glass windows on the side walls. No amount of money can replace what has gone up in smoke.

I grew up in the church.

They are trying to save the 2-story Sunday School and office building that is attached to the sanctuary.

It's so sad.

Good Morning Billie. This summer (very soon) I will be going to the Charleston / Folly Beach Area. Rented an ocean front condo. It will be a big family reunion. Happy news: My cousin Brian is home safe from Iraq. Hoping he will be joining us on vacation.
