"The Law" by Bastiat is a great read. 80-something pages and just $3.98. People usually are very grateful to receive (and read) this amazing work.

I could not agree with you more. I love this little book. I gave my last copy to Rev. J.L. Peterson when I met him (I thought it would help him with his ministry). He was very grateful to receive it : ) Seeing the quote made me realize I need to go buy another one this weekend.

Being a product of the public system myself, I am not sure if this book "The Law" by Bastiat you are speaking of is the same one I am finding freely on the web or not. Assuming that it is the same, I am not quite surprised that I am not finding this work on the Internet Public Library (www.ipl.org) since it seems to be missing many truly important works.
