Well, knock it off - snap out of it. Estrich is NOT on our side. I know she's likeable in a scary sort of way, but come on, don't drop your guard!
Ms. Broadrick - You are one tough lady and I appreciate your courage and want to thank you for bravely coming forward, again. I believed you in the Myers' interview and I believe you now. Best wishes to you and your family.

(I believe Juanita!)
From Edward Zehr:
Is it possible that young Bill Clinton blew a Rhodes Scholarship by assaulting a young girl in his host country? One might wonder if he were capable of such reckless behavior were it not for the Lewinsky affair. The rumor persists to this day that Clinton did not receive a degree as the result of his studies at Oxford. When the question came up during the 1992 presidential campaign, he failed to respond to it. As Aldrich wrote: "It is noted that normally a candidate would sign a release so as to allow investigators to confirm or deny educational claims. In this case, the candidate will neither sign a release form nor will he provide documentation related to his attendance and performance at Oxford."

A woman was only murdered in the White House in the movie MURDER AT 1600. You are probably thinking about Barbara Ann Wise who was found dead inside a lock room with her top off at the Department of Commerce. I was contacted by someone who worked with her who says she was ill and there was no foul play in her death. According to him, she probably had her top off (and this her office locked) because she suffered from a disease that included terrible hot flashes. I can't verify, but he went out of his way to contact me.

I wonder if he gave Chelsea the same advice?

Clinton has always been able to get by with refusing to provide information that any other politician would be hounded to death for by the press.
No medical records plus a million other questions that were never answered and let slip by by the press.
Thank goodness for Rush, talk radio, Fox News and the internet, things are changing just a bit.

I hope America's 85% of the press corps, liberal reporters, seriously are doing some soul searching right now.Let's put it this way: CNN knew what Saddam was doing to people in Iraq and looked the other way. All of that has become yesterday's news. Nobody is talking about it anymore. Just wait a year, and you'll see Howell Raines back in some high position in the media.

"She said how when her friend found her crying, she felt like someone would be coming to move the body...."
Juanita Broaddrick has been totally credible in both interviews I've seen. She is a courageous woman who deserves our respect.
Tonight is the first time I've heard the above reference to 'someone would be coming to move the body'. If Clinton's reputation for making troublesome people 'exit' had already been established, Juanita wouldn't need to be threatened to be quiet. Did anyone else interpret this the same way?
To: joesnuffy
She wasn't "murdered in the White House".
She was found dead in a Department building, can't remember which one, might have been Commerce.

In a new reconstituted version along with Doris Kearns Goodwin, that basketball announcer, and so many others.

You've read it correctly and I have heard her say it before. She was in fear for her life when it was over. This was the attorney general who could do whatever he wanted. Who was going to stop him?

More Edward Zehr:
Of particular interest is the charge made by Eileen Wellstone, who was 19 at the time, that Clinton assaulted her near the campus of Oxford University while he was a student there. A retired State Department official has confirmed that he contacted the family of the girl and subsequently filed a report on the incident with his superiors. Although Clinton admitted having sexual relations with the girl, he claimed that she had consented. Despite the fact that Wellstone's family declined to press charges, there may have been repercussions. In the book he wrote on his experiences in the Clinton White House, "Unlimited Access", Gary Aldrich revealed a possible reason why Rhodes Scholar Clinton broke off his studies in the winter of 1969 to make a tour of Europe: "there are suggestions that school officials told him he was no longer welcome on campus . . . There were no grades available for review to prove or disprove claims regarding Clinton's achievement, since the university will not release such records absent the candidate's authority."

I love when people try to claim that the Mena stories are nothing more than boogeyman stories...They are the ones who talk about a VRWC and have bumper stickers on their cars that read "Bush Knew."

Leon Panetta, Billy Clintoooon's Chief of Staff in the first term appeared on Meet the Depressed with Tim Russert.
When Russert asked about the "woman" problem, Panetta said that he (Panetta) TOOK GREAT PRECAUTIONS TO MAKE SURE THAT BILLY WAS NOT ALONE IN THE BACK OF THE PRESIDENTIAL LIMO WITH A WOMAN!

I'm getting sick, thinking about Susan Ostrich yacking about the statute of limitations on the accusation. For one thing, I haven't heard of Juanita filing any charges against Bubba, and it could all be cleared up if Bubba just got in front of the nation and said four words: IT DID NOT HAPPEN. No splitting hairs, no speaking legal mumbo jumbo through toadies, just those four words.
To: doug from upland
For those who forgot, the first President Bush wanted to get Clinton passport records. When word leaked, the Clintonistas went nuts and stopped it from happening. Bush could have discovered in 1992 that Clinton was kicked out of Oxford and England, but under pressure they stopped the search. My guess is that someone knew about Wellstone and was trying to expose it. Too bad it didn't work.

And in the Arkansas low-rent Clinton Mafia intimidation mood that swept through the state, it would be a huge club to use on young unsuspecting women.
If Mrs. Broderick is reading this, know that there are many people who believe you and pray for you and the emotional strength to sustain you.
