Oh good, maybe you can help me. This looks like the type of thread which would have attracted the same readers... to a recent thread I am searching for.

Do you remember a story about a guy in Alaska who shot a gigantic grizzly? As I recall, it took him 6 shots. Then they found a lost hiker or fisherman inside this bear.

I can't find this thread. I've tried all sorts of searches.

My husband was telling me today, about a guy at work who has a friend in Alaska, who shot a huge bear. As he mentioned a few details, I said I had already read about this on FR. Too funny. I want to find this darned thread so it can be emailed to the hunter.

Somebody just sent me the link... it was buried in another thread. This guy has a lot of friends, or so it seems. Hard to tell if this was an email along the lines of "a friend emailed me...". Hmmm.
