No Go on Garofalo
Left Coast Report, via email | 6-9-03 | James Hirsen

Posted on 06/09/2003 2:03:54 PM PDT by Paul Atreides

On the heels of Janeane Garofalo having had an HBO project placed on hold, the comedian has just gotten some bad news from ABC.

Garofalo's pending sitcom, "Slice o' Life," has been cut. According to Daily Variety, the network let Janeane's show go because of the "direction of the series story line."

Through an unnamed source close to Garofalo, Chicago Sun-Times columnist Bill Zwecker says that Janeane believes "her politics and all the hate mail the right-wing lobby stirred up during the war is what is behind all this."

An ABC spokeswoman told the newspaper that the decision to drop the show was based on the program's merits and that Garofalo's politics never came "into the decision-making process whatsoever."

The Left Coast Report is amazed at how vast the right-wing conspiracy has become. Now it even includes Disney, the same group that is financing Michael Moore.

It'll be rough, but I'll get over it.

I have just found the way to make my first million:
- Proclaim myself an obscure liberal 'artist'
- Make insulting divisive inflammatory remarks about prominent conservatives
- Submit lame and commercially non-viable scripts to movie and TV studios
- And here is the coup de gras ... sue the deep pockets in liberal CA courts where my idiotic views will be seen as reasonable and my artistic failure the obvious result of anti-1st Ammendment paymasters discriminating against my political views in a McCarthyistic attempt to stifle public debate ....

Then, settlement in hand I can relax on a beach with a cold cooler of Corona and complain about how the illegal immigrants cutting my lawn are demanding legal wages ....

Seriously, though, haven't you noticed that those on the left (for instance, any crowd photo of any of the recent so-called "anti-War" rallies - take a good look) are damaged?

They're invariably the ugly, the deformed, the weak, the losers...in short, they are the world's "grotesques".

Look at the recent anti-War rally photos. Look at Clinton's cabinet.

Reno? Reich? Madeliene Halfbright? Garofalo, Michael Moore, Al Franken...look at 'em.

Ugly, twisted, goofy lookin', stunted trolls, dwarfs, elves, gnomes and mutants of every shape and size. Reno's butch, hulking, gigantism. I mean, honestly, the left is one giant freakshow. It's a circus sideshow. The left is made up of the world's physical and emotional cripples, the physically and emotionally deformed.

Clinton's cabinet was like the "Fellowship of the Ring", all that was missing was the evil "Ring of Power", I mean even Bill could play Gandalf as we certainly all know he had his "staff"...

Yes, Janeane. It was the right-wing lobby that did this to you.

More precisely, and to identify the particular right-winger that did this, it was me.

I, personally, scotched your newest series, Janeane.

It was me.

"Remember Clinton's cabinet? It looked like a circus sideshow, with the midget Reich, the hulking Reno...it was like a casting call for Lord of the Rings or something."

Hehehe -- hilarious...

The only other cast of goblins we could physically compare to the Clinton Cabinet would be the denizens from the original Star Wars barroom scene.

I'm a firm believer that it is what is on the inside that makes them look that way. With conservatives, even the ones that might not be particularly attractive when looking at appearance only are softened and have an appeal that comes from their earthy level-headedness and, often, their sprituality. The leftists are like people possessed and their demons show through, which ruins the looks of those who might not look half bad otherwise.

I have occasionally watched Fox with the volume muted and tried to tell the liberal whackos from regular people. I can get it right most every time. They have a wild, haunted look in their eyes that intensifies when they speak and their faces get all screwed up and distorted when they talk because they are usually trying to yell over somebody.

I know you all think I'm being funny, but I'm serious.

And you're example is good too. Yes, the Cantina Bar scene in Star Wars is an equally good example.

The Democrat's base, the "Anti-War" crowd, the "Nancy Pelosi Liberals", they are the freaks and degenerates of the Earth.

They look like the cast of the Lord of the Rings, the aliens in the Cantina Bar in Star Wars, the ihabitants of Jabba's Palace in Return of the Jedi.

That's the Democrat Party faithful.

Twisted, gibbering, deformed, hulking, stunted, slithering, freaks...the entire Democratic Party...

It's funny because the descriptions are all dead-on true...

Some of us are again reminded of the Ten Years After song, 'I'd Love To Change The World':

"Everywhere is...freaks and hairies...fags and fairies -- tell me where is sanity."

A ditty obviously about Democtrats.

The Left has always been a tyranny of the minority, because the conservative majority, by definition, has been conservative and reluctant to make waves. That's why the vocal few have been able to derail people like Laura Schlessinger from their TV ventures.

The conservative Right has been forced to flex its muscles and was amazed at the results that were achieved. They are now emboldened and empowered, and are speaking up more and more. The Left is beginning to feel the sting of the vast Right (not conspiracy, but righteous indignation), and is not taking the tables being turned in a nice way, even though they had no problem throwing their supposed weight around.

What goes around, comes around, and it is finally coming around to the Left and they don't like it.
