"I'm tempted to poke out my eyes and puncture my eardrums to escape these people."
LOL! And the closest thing to 'relief' I have seen offered here.
. . .and thanks; just entertaining the option; makes me feel better. .

I would try to find a country to go to and live without her. I would sell our home, cash in our Iras/401ks and put the money in a Swiss account and leave. With a give up attitude she may make it. However, there are many of us who will fight in the streets to make sure this never happens. Guaranteed if you have a mind change & support the many groups that will take this issue on before she gets there al will be resolved. By 2006 we better have our ducks in order & let the games begin. \

Seriously, it wouldn't be hard to accomplish this. Get a writer with no known political opinion and get someone to recommend her to Hillary. Send the writer in as a starry-eyed Hillary groupie. The writer, of course, gets the job.
Now, have the writer tell Hillary that she needs to display "more emotion" in telling the tale of Monica. Submit that god-awful paragraph. Would Hillary recognize that paragraph as lifted from a sweaty romance novel? NO, because she has never read on in her life.
The writer could also have suggested the "leftovers tale" as a way to make hosewives "identify" with her.
I am liking this theory.
January 30, 2001. Ms. Jane Simmons, aspiring novelist, found herself waiting at the gates to the White House. Her invitation had been cryptic, simply a curt statement that her presence had been requested by the President.
Passing through security, she found herself waiting outside the door to the Oval Office. She coldn't understand why she was there, unless the First Lady's interest in books had caused her name to come up. Years ago she had met Mrs. Bush at a librarians convention, but surely that wouldn't have been important enough for her name to be remembered.
The door opened, and she found herself facing the President, leaner and tanner than she had thought him from his television appearances. He was flanked by Mrs. Bush, who smiled at her, and a dark, glowering gentleman who looked vaguely familiar.
"Welcome to the Oval Office, Miss Simmons. Laura speaks highly of your work."
Thanks, you, Mr. President," she stammered.
"Let me introduce you to Mr. George Tenet. He has some information to tell you. Then we have a project we would like your help on...."

May we reserve a small place? My hubby will network all computers so we can get an intranet plan of action!Y'all have dibs on the loft!
He bought a gun and if someone can teach him (or me) how to use it, we may be useful.
I would consider it a pleasure!

"We're going to have to endure an entire presidential campaign with Hillary's frozen smile and practiced lines plastered all over the place."
I don't think endure is the right word. It will be the most entertaining political race in the history of the country. Maybe the history of the world.
True, it will be difficult to keep anything in your stomach, but it will be a load of fun.

MeMeRoids indeed: she is such a perfect narcissist that when she tries to be profound it always sounds like a joke:
A quote from her in the New York Post: "It was a challenge to forgive Bill . . . [but] if Mandela could forgive, I would try." This is priceless stuff.

I'm trying to come to terms with the inevitably of a Hillary Clinton presidency. I see nothing now that can stop it, short of an unforeseen miracle.Easy now. It might be close but I believe any election with Queen Bee in it will closley scrutinized. Even the libs I spar with at work dont want her in.

I'm trying to come to terms with the inevitably of a Hillary Clinton presidency. I see nothing now that can stop it, short of an unforeseen miracle.Hillary will lose all 48 states if/when she runs. When she isn't allowed scripted pre-written blather statements, she speaks like a vicious, uninformed, arrogant idiot.
To: Digger
Naw, we will defeat her and the other losers in politics on the political front.
Anyone, who says there is not a difference between the two parties is the one who has given up!
GW and 60 senators in 2004 will push her back into the shadows.

Interesting Andrew thinks the 'leak' was a malinged intention vs others in Media hailing it as 'great PR' job. . .that great job of course, being 'suckering the public' to generate sales.
That said, the leak itself; this 'revelation!' has resulted in a nauseating amount of press. . .
. . .but I swear; I think. . .this is not a 'revelation'; not 'news' and that this penned version of Hilary's 'first realization' have already been disclosed. . .by Hillary; or by someone. . .in some format, a few years ago.
Ring a bell or just resonate with ANYone else out here???

I don't keep track of her stories.
They remind me of her spawn on 9/11 wandering around NYC in a daze blaming GW's tax cuts for what had happened.

20% cannot stand Hillary? I would say its a lot closer to 50%. I hope.

The Clintons have a Faustian pact with the Devil as far as their marriage goes. The only thing that matters to them both is power.
I'll bet when the final judgement occurs for them, that it will be sheer lunacy watching them stutter and fumble their way to hell. Picture St.Peter and the Lord asking WJC & HRC all the questions about their inequities while on earth. God I'd love to be privy to this spectacle: WJC: Lord it depends on what the meaning of is is?
Both of these slimes will be violently cast down to the deepest bowels of Hades, no doubt! Imho.

If by some very possible fluke (economic meltdown, etc) Hellary was elected president, especially through skullduggery I think the witch has a better than 50/50 chance of winning next year for the following reasons:
1) The RAT nominee already has KA, NY, IL, and a few northeastern states locked up. That is about 150 electoral votes right there.
2) Voter fraud. Any state that has one or more large metropolitan areas has a chance to go demoncratic.
3) A lot of women will vote for the "first woman running for president".
4) Sluggish economy (although there are some signs of things picking up), or anything going bad overseas.
A shooting war would break out.
Either that, or enough sheeple would wake up and vote the b!tch out.
But it is still prudent to prepare for the worst.

I think he doesn't realize how many woman have lost all respect for her. Not just the conservative woman but those that identify themselves as independents and liberals.
She no longer has the possibility of staying with Bill and playing the victim. If she stays with him and runs for President most people in the back of their minds are thinking about 4-8 more years of Bill chasing interns around the White House. 4-8 more years of Hilary defending him or worse a divorce going on within the White House.
If she divorces him,we would be asked to accept a divorced and single woman. We would have 4-8 years of stories about her "homosexuality" or seeing her latest lover on her arm. I don't think that most of America wants that treat.
Consider the garbage that she carries with her starting with her college days.
1. The thesis
2. The hatred of police and military
3. The Arkansas education debacle.
4. The Health Care debacle
5. The lies
6. The temper
7. The husband
8. The liberalness.
Right now, with the situation in the middle east, the two things that a President of the United States could not be is a Liberal Woman or Jewish. Unless of course, you want 4-8 years of increased terrorism and decreased military.
