Not a sales pitch. I am just an avid reader of Mr. Hanson and thought to share this information.

Yo, Vic, come to Texas and tell us how much better off we are.

Is this the same Victor Hanson writing the "Chicken Soup" series?

His interview with Limbaugh was fantastic.

Yet we Californians have been inadequate in meeting this challenge, both failing to control our borders with Mexico

We have? LOL...... Prop 187.......

Like it or lump it, California has, since about 1870, been a weathervane for the direction of many (if not most) other states. Therefore, it is wise not to give up on her, but to FIX the problems.

"and to integrate the new alien population into our mainstream." "

The Mexicans don't want to be integrated as Americans. They want our riches in their format of Mexico. Of course, if these idiots were so smart Mexico wouldn't be the sewer that it is.

I get pissed about the arrogance of these foreigners that believe we suck, and they, somehow, will make us sooooo much better. Yet, they come here to take what we have built.

Mexicans on the left and right are quietly advocating a "Reconquista" of the states of Texas, California, New Mexico and Arizona--not by military conquest but by immigration and by birth rate demographics.

"...coalition that stymies immigration reform and, even worse, stifles an honest discussion of the growing problem. Corporations, contractors, and agribusiness demand cheap wage labor from Mexico, whatever the social consequences."

PROBLEM HERE;
Unless someone can prove it; the idea that 'business needs' illegal immigration seems to be a red herring....
Some business' may need that labor but all that's needed to provide it is a regulated Bracero program as we had in the past, but killed (in part) because it was 'demeaning'.
ILLEGAL immigration is another thing; it benefits the left, the government bureaucracy, a few small businesses, and the illegals - no one else.

Rather than pretend that every illegal coming across the river was lured by agri-business or Tyson; we should be busy advising republican & conservative (?) dimocrat incumbents and candidates that they've done so well on all other issues so that our votes will be based on
1. Right to keep and bare arms
2. and reform of immigration, indluding revoking the citizenship-if-born-here amendment that was meant for former slaves and not for current invaders.

None Dare Call it . . .  IMVASION!

It will be interesting to see . . .

A white minority that has no affirmative action, because it does not need it..

A white minority being sought out by smart "majority" employers, because of their high talent level..

A white minority developing into a roll of "professional development engineers" that keep the infrastructure of those states alive.

A white minority developing into a new class of management which keeps most ranges of all business running correctly.

A white minority that will threaten strike if they are not granted certain standard of living levels which are radically above the general population, and get it.

A white minority that develops de facto police like authority in civil and metropolitan developmental affaires.
