Please, Martha was a stock broker and on the board at the NYSE. She is no uninformed bimbo who made it sleeping to the top. She worked for it and as it turns out did some suspect things to keep ALL of it. Feeling sorry for Martha is tough work. Beyond me. How anyone could miss watching another (Hillary) droid voice coat the thanksgiving turkey with chocolate and gold leaf while instructing us in carving of gilded bird, serving, eating, clean up , finger washing....... Martha, get a grip. Now she may have time to reflect on being a more gentle, kinder earthier girl. What do you think?

No, that's exactly what she was. Look at the "stockbroker." Merrill Lynch's big producer is a male escort for old women (and Martha). He wouldn't know a P/E ratio if it ran over him.

Read the indictment. Martha is definitely not among the brighter bulbs in the box. ("I think I'll perfect my conspiracy by using my cellphone this morning." Even Tony Soprano leaves home and goes to a pay phone. Geeesh, she's stupid. Actually, she was (at one time) a good looking woman who masqueraded as someone who knew how to make a home beautiful. I lost faith in Martha when she divorced her husband.)

All I know about Martha Stewart is that for several years I tried to find a drawer tray to help me organize my office desk. I bought trays from Office Depot/Office Max and catalogue suppliers, but I never found the tray I was looking for. . . cheap, sturdy, and with right-sized compartments.

Then one day I was strolling around K-mart automobile department, and just across from it, I saw an aisle of Martha Stewart products that included a MS “utility tray.” That MS tray caught my eye, I bought it, and voilà! It fit perfectly in my desk drawer and all my pens, pencils, drawing tools, and other office supplies fit perfectly also.

All of a sudden, everyone at my office wanted to have MS trays, and I bought a whole bunch of them for everyone at the office. The MS trays were not only less expensive than the inferior trays I had bought before from office supply stores, they were also strong and convenient.

In my book, anyone who helps me organize my office and my garage has won enough good will to last for several years. I wish Martha Stewart had cooperated fully with this investigation and avoided all these legal troubles. At this point, I hope she can get the best deal possible out of this criminal indictment.
