Pets, what would we do without them?

Life would be a good deal more trying, I think.

Humans are wonderful and miraculous and beautiful beyond words, but being who we are, we are not always easy to love.

I've had the thought that the Good Lord gave us animal friends to give us love and to give us practice in loving...exercising that ol' heart muscle, y'know.

The older I get, the more blown away I am by the animal kingdom.

I've had several losses in my life and a wonderful pet has always been near to help me through those trying times.
