Too bad the police don't try to get the music players to tone it down somewhat before it gets this out of hand. I remember parties where the police did do just that. That is the part I don't get where were they?

Too bad the police don't try to get the music players to tone it down somewhat The shooter never called the police, but your point is well taken.
Loud music is a disruption to neighbors' lives, and we should be considerate.
To: Joe Hadenuf
A past histroy, well I would imagine these low life blast their music at 4:00 a.m. every morning. I mean you got women at the party carrying babies around at that hour? Sheeeeat. Talk about skanks Dude, you are tragic. You have no clue who these people are, yet are willing to condemn them as "low life" daily music blasters and "skanks".
The shooter has no excuse - he should have simply called the cops. They deal with these kinds of situations almost every day.

Kudos to this guy for not wasting taxpayer money by phoning the police. Now if the loud music people had been carrying, this probably would never have happened. Too bad for them.</sarcasm>

where should I place my outrageSmoking.
Florida voters passed a constitutional amendment to ban smoking at workplaces, such as restaurants and bars.
Baby... smoking... second hand...

The guy should've tried earplugs combined with protective target-shooting earwear. That combo would keep out the noise of any party. Why should he have to do ANYTHING? The victims were violating the law. Granted, he went off the deep end, but would YOU really bend over backwards to accomodate an intrusion like that?

I wasn't talking about the shooter. I was commenting on the morons parting in an apartment building at 4:00 a.m. with their babies in attendence. Clearly, these are totally disrespectful neighbors most people would want to choke off or worse.
Tell you what, if you wake me up at 4:00 a.m. my house better be on fire!

Dude, you are tragic.Oh, and pull yourself out of the 70s.......Dude? LOL!

Another sad, sad case of second-hand music leading to death.

Tall fences make good neighbours. So do loaded weapons. If you decide to disturb the peace, you better be ready to face the consequences, not from the state, but from your fellow citizens. That is how the Founders wanted it, and their wisdom is proven yet again.

(RATS will use any means to denigrate George Bush's Victory.)
Investigators say Evers did not call police to complain about the noise. Police said Evers fled the scene after the shooting. Officers arrested him several hours later at his parent's home in Sunrise. He faces three counts of first-degree murder and two of attempted first-degree murder. Evers is jailed without bond.
Ten days earlier, Evers received a warning for trespassing at a Coral Springs shopping center, police said. That's when he gave officers his parent's address.

"Lets see, it's 4:00 a.m. and this woman is carrying a baby around at a freaking party? Jezzzzzz. Sounds like these are more people that our government is dumping on us by the freighter full.
"
I see. So that's a good enough excuse to ignore her injuries? Maybe the party was at her house and the baby was crying and needed to be fed. Babies do sometimes get fed at 4 A.M.
