Not really, I think her family realized the stuff she had or was given her by her side of the family which were memories for them would have been sold to strangers cheap for defense change.
That would leave their daughter's possessions in the hands of strangers and not her own families that would treasure them.
I really don't blame them at all.
I have also read his side of the family had access all the time there. So there was some cruel games being played here against Laci's family.

You raise good points - I still think the Rochas could have handled it differently in this instance to - they had the moral high ground up to now, but lost it as far as I'm concerned. Maybe if I hadn't had someone break into my car this week and take stuff that didn't belong to them, I'd have more sympathy for them, but I can't abide liars (the Peterson's) and I certainly can't abide thieves (The Rochas)...
