You don't see too many convertibles in the OHP's fleet today. Maybe that was the one they kept around for parades, or ceremonial uses.

The world that was. The world that is, and the one that is to come.

The story is interesting though. The concept that Egyptians had explored an iceless Antarctica is fascinating in itself. But throwing Atlantis into the mix is disappointing.

That's the usual response when you mention that some civilization may have existed more than 10,000 years ago. The sceptic says 'where is their stuff? There ought to be something.'
Some things we have these days are made of much tougher material than what ancient prople had to work with. But what does, for example, a CD disk look like after 100 years? 1000 years? 10,000 years? If it's left exposed to the air and sun and weather? If it's buried in a landfill?
So what should we expect to find from 10,000 year old villages besides rocks and clay, maybe a bone fragment or two?

LOL! That's the answer, of course!

I was just cleaning out a box and came across
Atlantis Found.
Also, on C2CAM recently, some caller brought up that Hitler went to Antarctica on a captured UFO too.
I don't know. Ever since I heard Susan Saranwrap made a movie about Antarctica, it kinda lost its appeal for me.
