We need to show up in force tomorrow. I will be there.

they ignore the abundant evidence that poverty is the greatest threat to the environment. They certainly don't want that "tidbit" of factual knowledge to get around, not much chance of that however. The way these subjects are dealt with in the schools today they don't even know our environment is MUCH cleaner than it was 25 years ago.
That air quality has improved greatly in the last 10 years and it will dramatically improve even more, as more and more older cars come off the road.
That "global warming" is a theory, and as to what do do about it, there is NO consensus, Kyoto is a JOKE and will never solve anything.

"A statement from the environmental group Greenpeace said 45 demonstrators tried to block access to the complex, saying ExxonMobil isn't doing enough to help solve global warming."Yeah, that evil global warming is either to blame for the excepeionally long, cold winter we had...and the long, cold spring...or I should be grateful to global wariming for saving all of us in the Northern US from becoming FREEZE POPS! I want my global warming NOW please!
...How did those 45 environazis get to their little Gaia shindig in the first place? Did they all walk...or did they take adventage of the evil, internal combustion engine, thus contributing to global warming (which I want NOW, please!)

"To hear them preach you would think that they all live in tree trunks or caves, cook with only what dead wood they can find..."Living in tree trunks might hurt the nice trees. Burning wood in order to cook, even if it's deadfall, creates smoke which contributes to global warming - not to mention destroying habitat for the critters that made that deadfall their home. Living in a cave...yeah, living in a cave would be stealing the homes of bears and other four-legged people that live in caves.
No wonder they're always saying they want the human race to die out immediately, if not sooner...

How many times have you heard that in the past week?
One of them told me there is a movement to make the tops of NYC buildings green. Stupid me thought they meant paint.
To: firebrand
Heard it twice within 15 minutes today walking from the train to school.

yes let`s protest global warming by protesting oil companies, let`s protest logging by sitting in trees, let`s protest urban sprawl by spray painting new houses, let`s protest fishermen by boating in front of their spears, let`s protest everything but the cause of all these problems... Human overpopulation. What`s that?

let`s protest everything but the cause of all these problems... Human overpopulation. What`s that? The left's prime directive is to ignore and divert attention from the fact that capitalism works. It also works to lower populations. Prosperous people have fewer children than poor people. Even among the poor urbanites have fewer children than rural people. Thus the left aims to keep people poor, and to keep poor people out of the cities.
You might be operating under the mistaken view that the lefties have some actual intent (however misguided) to solve problems concerning war, poverty, the environment, and such like. Some of the useful idiots carrying the signs excepted, they don't. They intend to use these problems problems to advance their socialist agenda. If they can succeed in making the problems worse, they simply become all the more useful.

Ping!
Rally for America!
When: Wednesday, May 28
Time: 8:00 am-12:00 pm
Where: The Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Hall
2301 Flora St, Downtown Dallas, TX
In a show of strength and solidarity of cause, citizens from across Texas and the nation will be rallying in front of the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Hall in Dallas to express their support for the USA, democracy, and the American way of life.
Corporations like Exxon-Mobil are the embodiment of the American free enterprise system at its best. Thats why weve chosen their annual meeting to show leftist America and the world that we support American companies and the work that they do for the United States and around the world.
The rally will feature hundreds of citizens and a colorful bit of street theater as a way of expressing support for the USA. Our men and women in uniform are protecting our way of life while anarchists are screaming invectives. Lets show the lefties that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness arent possible without oil just ask the Iraqis.
Wave your flags with friends and family and be proud of American oil as we RALLY FOR AMERICA!
Food, water, and restrooms will be provided!
