I am so sorry for your loss, DL. My prayers are with you and your family. He must have been a very special man.

My dad was a marine in WWII, Pacific theater too. We lost him a few years ago. It is a hard thing to say goodbye. God bless you. My mom and sister will be decorating my dad's resting place on Monday.

I'm starting to check up on my contributions to the prayer list. I'm happy to note that ~Char and Dale's son Dean came home from Iraq at the end of April! He's fine; his parents mentioned that he was deeply touched by the children of Iraq.
