It's a fiction story based off of actual research.
Some sciboys studied certain DNA chains in the human genetic makeup and found pro-viruses in them.
The Doctor, an actual Doc named Geraud, studied some schizophrenics and found active pro-virus (RNA actually.) in their blood.
He had noexplanation as to why it was there, he was more intrigued that it was there at all.
Intrigued me too.
What mechanism would there be to suddenly activate a 'prehistoric useless DNA section' and pump out active pro-virus?
And what would that mean?
So I wrote the fictional story after reading it, off the premise that we were engineered.
Had some people say I scared them.

I read something about that pro-virus segment in schizophrenics and something about cat fecal matter. It always come back to fecal matter...

You have company.
Zecharia Sitchin, for example.
